It was awesome, but I feel like there wasn't really a real conclusion to the story.
Outstanding comic book film! Loved every second, including that big airport fight!!
It was interesting to see what side the characters would pick and why they would pick that side. Great battle scene, well two good battle scenes. One of the more emotional of the MCU movies. But i enjoyed seeing all the characters together and has a good introduction to the new spider man. Although not my favorite spider man ( who is Andrew Garfield in the the first Amazing Spider Man movie, i know most people don't agree with me) he does well interacting with the other avengers, and it is interesting to see a younger and inexperienced super hero compete with older more experienced super hero's.
Sequel to The Winter Soldier, well plotted and fun to watch. I don't like how they put the blame on the heroes in the video that the secretary shows them. The damage would have been much worse if they would have done nothing. Ridiculous.
My side: Captain America!
Contains some language and taking of Our LORD's name in vain. Worth a try.
My side: Captain America.
This is a 2016 American superhero action drama directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.
It features the Marvel Comics character Captain America.
It is the sequel to 2011's Captain America: "The First Avenger" and 2014's Captain America: "The Winter Soldier".
Although it is an action-packed superhero blockbuster boasting stimulating visual effects and violent fighting scenes, the action scenes appear a bit flat compared to those in the "300---a 2006 American epic fantasy war film based on the Battle of Thermopylae."
Its story is childish and predicable.
To view violent scenes, you'll definitely need some willing suspension of disbelief.
"First, I’d like to say I think Marvel Studios does a great job in casting for their characters and they write their characters well. Some may not get as much development as others but they’re all pretty solid people..."

I am not sure how Marvel is managing to churn out masterpiece after masterpiece with these Captain America and Avengers movies but carry on. Also, I must say the introduction to Black Panther was excellent as is the treatment of the character going forward.
Oddly enough, didn't overtake my favorite Marvel movie, Captain America: the Winter Soldier, but settled in second or third place. Which is good enough, as the movie itself is amazing. Obviously meant for fans of the longtime running MCU, the movie tied up threads and began new paths. I highly enjoyed it, and seeing all these characters rolled up together in a Captain America movie was fabulous. As stated below, the jokes were perfectly balanced with the action, which I incredibly grateful for since, in my opinion, that coexistence was severely lacking in Age of Ultron. Jaw-dropping conclusions. Friends torn apart. The Avengers taken down and wedged apart one by one by one. Epic, enjoyable, and satisfying. My only bone to pick with the movie was Black Panther, as I truly believe he needs more character development to strike a deep note with the audience. I personally didn't like him or hate him. He was just...there. Hoping the Black Panther movie will explain him better.
Saw Civil War in the theaters and absolutely loved it. It had the right combination of humor and action. The Russo Brothers rock
Better than I had expected, but not as much as I hoped for. Tony hates Iron Man; Captain dislikes Tony's inability to process the fact that "heros" MUST learn to deal with the tragic consequences of their actions. Stark just comes off as a whiny rich boy, while Cap. has his sights on higher things like friendship and making the world a better place.
Civil War is an awesome movie. It is the action sequences that make it so as the plot (and the true villain of the piece) are a bit confusing and lacking. That's not to say that there isn't one, but it's hard to follow and requires having seen Age of Ultron to understand some of the villain's backstory. Still though that could've been done a bit better it's still a really good film. Newly introduced heroes Black Panther and Spiderman were well done and the big "Civil War" battle between the heroes was hilarious. A must for all fans of the MCU.
Why isn't this DVD showing up in the new titles listing? I only found it because I realized the DVD was coming out soon and searched specifically for it.
Best movie Marvel has to offer as of date. Winter Soldier and the Black Panther were totally awesome. The storyline lacked in some respects and they tried to converge two plotlines; the Registration Act and the hunt for the Winter Soldier. SPOLIER: In Civil War the villain is successful! Overall awesome movie that everyone should watch at least once. I know I am adding this to my CA collection and completing my trilogy.
