This wonderful series has me crying and laughing every single time I have read it. What a wonderful story of a young woman and the trials she faces as she gets older and develops her relationship with not only her family, but with God.

I've been re-reading Janette Oke's books this summer. I loved them as a girl and am happy to find they still are an entertaining and light read. I think this is the best volume in the Love Comes Softly series. Marty's losses, Clark's faith, and the way they discover their love for each other is told in such a quiet, lovely way.

This is a wonderful book series! Janette Oke has marvelous characters, dynamic settings, and engaging plots. Marty and Clark are sure to tug on the reader's heartstrings, and the struggles these two will face is sure to strengthen not only the characters but also the reader along the way. Set in the west, this is sure to delight any Historical Fiction reader!

I love these books! They are so thrilling and you will find yourself drowned in the book after a while. You'll finish it in no time! && for those of you who do NOT like to read at ALL, you could always watch the movie series...(they are great as well :)

inspirational and a great read for someone who likes reading about everyday life, and some small adventures.

Very touching and moved me to become more in tune with historical women. I have used this experience with all my reading now and I find that I can relate the life in a story to one that could be completely possible and even perhaps around my life right now.

ALSO: very good for a person who doesn't like to search for books to read. There are 8 books in the series and so you are satisfied for a relatively long while without having to search for a new author.

I thought this would be boring book not for kids my age but it was great, it's inspiring and....great, can't think of much more to say about it (and all the other books in it's series.)
There is also a sequal SERIES to it so if you've finished this one, look for that to!!

It was great.
