A good selection of stories -- some of them uncompromising, but all beautifully written. Wyoming is a living, breathing character in Prioux's work.
Brilliant writing - Proulx is inimitable when it comes to creating character and ironic story lines.
Not much love for the first story - much love for the last . Overall , a high B+ , Annie ! Wyo. will always live in my heart , and I say , thanks , for your help in keeping it there
Very fun and captivating reading, even in the hard stories. I have been to the parts of Wyoming where the stories easily could have come from, and my mental picture matches the stories. They show Proulx's great love of writing and people.
Really good collection of stories. Some are so hard on their characters they are hard to read, while the shorter pieces are generally lighter, even comic. I really don't want to go to Wyoming, though.
These stories are so good I didn't want them to end.
