Note: The Beatles are NOT in this movie. One of the worst films of the 70's as various bands (Bee Gees, Aerosmith) ruin Beatles songs.

In 1978, the Bee Gees and Peter Frampton starred in a trippy rock opera based on the Beatles album. An all-star cast chipped in to sing the songs, including Steve Martin, Alice Cooper, Donald Pleasance, and Aerosmith. If you ever wanted to hear George Burns’ rendition of “Fixin’ a Hole,” here’s your chance. This flick is for people who believe movies can be so bad that they’re good.

I agree, this is a bad movie, but fun in so many ways! First off it stars The Bee Gees and Peter Frampton in the Beetle's parts, but also includes Earth, Wind & Fire and Aerosmith. The entire movie is overdubbed by George Burns. Steve Martin does a credible job with the song "Maxwell's Silver Hammer"; can't really beat Aerosmith version of "Come Together" & EW&F's version of "Gotta Get You into My Life" is groovy!! Really not a complete waste of time. The music is enough to get you through the silliness. Besides, Beetles movies are just the same; great music, no plot.
