This version of the Fullmetal Alchemist story is great, not the same as the manga, but nearly just as good. I guess there was supposedly a good reason to it, like making it understandable, and more..."english" in this case. The original one that followed almost the same script as the manga is 'Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood' which was also great.
