I finished this book and could not wait to read books 2 (The Betrayal) and 3 (The Breakthrough). The first of the book is sad, but at the end it is suspenseful and you can't wait to read the second book in the series.

Although the premise is very sad, the unfolding of Drake's journey was tedious to read. A lot of time spent on thoughts and feelings rather than plot. Much of the book could be scanned

Great book. Very sad at beginning but very real. Shows reality of life but also shows the love of God and His walking with us through very tough times.
