First part of book is photos of other people's living spaces, which are rather expensively decorated. Second half of book is projects, which are thankfully cheaper than what the pictures in the first part of the book shows! Projects have quick box in corner about estimated time and cost. The projects are a little more sophisticated than some other decorating books (no duct tape on the wall!) The book also covers flower arranging and then has a section on before & after pictures of home renovations (which, again, are rather pricey).
