I haven't read v.1 but I think the sprawling stable of DC occult characters should produce better than this. I find the whole John Constantine is a bastard thing is really, really tired. As are most of the situations in the book, Steve Trevor is playing Rick Flagg in Amanda Waller's latest super anti superhero brigade. Then there is the traitor betraying for the old standby reason. And on and on. This book is a mess. It's main interest is only that it's characters are the occult ones.

This book actually ties into the "Books of Magic" series in the pre-Flashpoint Vertigo universe. Timothy Hunter joins the Justice League.
