Factoring for longevity and Halford's ability to still bring it after all these years it's hard to not give it 5 stars. One of the few NWOBHM bands still doing it right after all these years.

This is a really good Priest album. For me, Dragonaut, Halls of Valhalla, Metallizer, Redeemer of Souls are all stand out tracks, but, there really isn't any filler here. Worth checking out if you like hard rock/metal.

Despite suffering from bad production in a few places, Redeemer of Souls is actually pretty good. Most of the songs feel like songs from older albums. March of the Damned's riff feels like a cross between British Steel era Judas Priest and Black Sabbath. Metalizer sounds like something from Angel of Retribution, and Halls of Valhalla sounds like it came from Painkiller (in addition to including the best scream on the album.). Standout songs for me are Dragonaut, Halls of Valhalla, Sword of Damocles, Hell & Back, and Crossfire. (And from the delux edition bonus tracks, Snakebite and Creatures.)
