Terrible. Everything about it is pathetic. Also the actors looked like they came out of modeling school instead of acting school. Laughable.

Simply put, a simple film with the traditional " try to scare you" jumps, and a stupid ending that lowers its rating .
Not a complete waste of time as the acting is actually competent, filmwork as well. Just don't expect anything more than what it is...an ok timewaster.

Ouija produced by the Platinum Dunes partners which is compiled of Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form. A few famous movies that had been previously produced by them are; The Purge, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Friday the 13th. With special help by the Blumhouse Productions’ Jason Blum who made the Paranormal Activity and Insidious franchise. So reading this star studded cast of amazing directors producers and screen writers you would expect an amazing, fear inducing, chilling scary movie but instead all we got was a couple bad jump scare which were actually laughable of how bad they were and some very predictable characters with very one dimensional character building. The things that this movie lacked was character building to make us feel an emotion for these characters when things began to happen, but instead they gave very generic, run of the mill characters who we hoped would be the next to be taken by the entity. SPOILER ALERT! But when Debbie in the beginning of the movie is playing the game alone and then obviously gets possessed due to the “Rules” that were never really explained in the movie that much, but we are expected to know what they are 5 minutes into this movie. (Rules are don’t play alone, don’t play without saying goodbye, and don’t play on a cemetery). So when the movie starts to follow this very bland storyline that makes you feel like you have seen this done before (exorcist, paranormal activity, final destination and more) the movie continues to follow these teenagers as this spirit entity is haunting them, like paranormal activity and is trying to get rid of them just like Final Destination. Without spoiling anymore surprise surprise at the end everything is fixed and back to normal. If I was to give a professional movie review I would go for pages of how this movie was just a rip-off of many movies by stealing major plots from their storyline and putting into this terrible movie script mishmash of good movie plots. Rating out of 10 is a solid 2 for no originality found in the whole story other than the names but even then I feel like they stole characters also from other stories but that is beside the point. Would not recommend watching this movie in all honesty

Growing up, I was afraid of this board game- I have seen alot of horror films and this movie needs help...creepy atmosphere/settings, and some genuinely spooky moments-but I was a little bored and could easily guess what would happen next. It's not going to make the top of my list by any means- enjoy it for what it is- if you like scary.

Abysmal movie. Not scary, original or startling at all. Another cut and paste low budget horror.

Predictable in some parts but not a bad watch.
