In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry is midway through both his training as a wizard and his coming of age. He wants to get away from the malicious Dursleys and go to the Quidditch World Cup with Hermione, Ron, and the Weasleys. He wants to dream about his crush, Cho Chang (and maybe do more than dream). And now that he's gotten the hang of things at Hogwarts—he hopes—he just wants to be a normal fourteen-year-old wizard. But even by his standards, Harry's year is anything but normal. Going on the number of holds for this item it may warrant purchasing more licenses. I’d be interested in knowing the wait time?

Jim Dale creates a superb narration for this magnificent series.
The Goblet of Fire is the fourth in this seven-part saga,
the first British fantasy novel ever to compare with Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings.
And speaking of British, the UK audiobook is read by Stephen Fry
and is equally engaging and entertaining to Jim Dale’s version.
Highly recommended.

Jim Dale's narration is superb. The movie is good, but the audiobook is great. So much more depth and detail added to the story of Harry Potter's fourth year at Hogwarts. I'd seen the movie a couple of times, but I understand what's going on now that I've listened to the book. Highly recommended for tweens, teens, and adults.

I had no problems with the copy of the book that I checked out, though I admit with the really popular stuff it is a bit hit or miss on how well it will work. Usually, though, if you let the library know there's an issue with a disk(s) they will get them replaced.

In my option this book and the half-blood prince are the best in this series!
