"Reeling from recent events, even Hawkeye wants to know what his new status quo is. Who's with him? Who's against him? Who's trying to kill him and why? So many dang questions! And just when Clint's rock bottom couldn't arrive fast enough...his brother shows up. After a lifetime of decisions both good and bad, Clint and Barney Barton have to realize that they are brothers and ultimately, they're the only ones who can save one another. I mean, if they don't kill each other first. Now, the brothers Barton double down against the bad guys as the Clown lays siege to their building. Can Hawkeye keep everyone safe against a killer nobody's even seen yet?"--provided from Amazon.com.

I found this a pretty boring story. Basically it is about how much a mess Hawkeye is and how he seems to move from crisis to crisis battling gangs and thugs. It also includes his lame bother - not really a superhero story by any stretch.

Fraction really stacks the odds against Mr. Barton here. Little to no Avengers help and hemmed in from many sides, accompanied by an untrustworthy brother and an up and coming sidekick, seriously wounded and having to be more resourceful than ever, if this is / was Fraction's swan song on the character he gave the next guy or girl incredible shoes to fill.

Wrapping up Fraction's run on Clint Barton and Kate Bishop, this collection has Hawkeye dealing with troubles outside his usual Avengers duties, close to home, particularly presented by his ne-er do well brother Barney. Fraction has brought a strong sense of characterization to the series (even if you wonder why track suit mafia thugs think it's a bright idea to mess with a guy who hangs around with some of the mightiest human beings on the planet).
