You don't have to own a pet to enjoy this story of a happy suburban household gone to the dogs! The Garrisons (Dean Jones and Suzanne Pleshette) are the "proud parents" of three adorable dachshund pups - and one overgrown Great Dane named Brutus, who nevertheless thinks of himself as a dainty dachsie. His identity crisis results in an uproarious series of household crises that reduce the Garrisons' house to shambles - and viewers to howls of laughter!

This is an ideal family movie! Full of all sorts of slap-stick-dog- humour it will have you in stitches- laughed so hard! All schools should show this movie as it is classic and hilarious. Suzanne Pleschette is brilliant as is Dean Jones (of Disney Love Bug fame). Recommended for sure.

One of my all time favorite Classic Disney films! The hijinks and adorablness will not disappoint. Note: Note I may be a bit bias as I own my very own Ugly Dachshund (a Great Dane) and this is her favorite movie too!

Loved this old-fashioned Disney movie. Somewhat stereotyped but okay. Great for kids!

A Dachshund and a Great Dane have puppies on the same day. The Dachshund has too much milk, the Great Dane too many puppies (she rejects one). What seems like a simple solution leads to marital crisis and one confused Great Dane.

I loved this movie when I saw it the first time many many years ago on television, and I laughed and laughed when I saw it again. It certainly lead to discussions between myself and my husband who is a small dog person and who is a large dog (LION!) person.

Excellent Disney Fun
