"Shouldn't someone give a pep talk or something?" Minho asked, pulling Thomas's attention away from Alby.
"Go ahead," Newt replied.
Minho nodded and faced the crowd. "Be careful," he said dryly. "Don't die."
"Great. We're all bloody inspired," Newt answered.
"We're telepathic! We can talk to each other in our freaking heads!" - Thomas
For the first time, he felt something for Chuck that made him so angry he wanted to kill somebody. The boy should be in school, in a home, playing with neighbourhood kids. He deserved to go home at night to a family who loved him, worried about him. A mom who made him take a shower every day and a dad who helped him with his homework.
Thomas hated the people who'd taken this poor, innocent kid from his family. He hated them with a passion he didn't even know a human could feel. He wanted them dead, tortured, even. He wanted Chuck to be happy.
But happiness had been ripped from their lives. *Love* had been ripped from their lives.

*Some spoilers* Crazy whacked out idea but I loved the wild ride of reading this story. So many twists and unexpected revelations in the book. The main character is trying to find answers to who the good guys are and what has happened to his world as we try to figure it all out with him. It is set in the future where mankind needs saving from a horrible disaster that has turned humans into monsters. Now scientists use children to figure out how to save the human race. Great book!
Thomas wakes up with no memory except his first name,Thomas, of his previous life in a elevator. He finds himself living in the glade and trying to escape the maze. Then, a girl comes up from the box holding a note saying that she was the last one ever, and they find out how to get out of the maze. When they get to the Griever Hole, they have to kill grievers and then they deactivate the maze. They get to the creators, and find out there is a disease called the "flare" in the real world that kills people and turns them into zombie looking people before they die. then the story ends at the boys resting in a house not infected by the "flare".

Frightening or Intense Scenes: Intense scenes. If you want a scare, then read this book. Great book but it’s also interesting
Sexual Content: Please, there is no Sexual content or Romance in this book. The only things that comes close to it, is holding hands. And if you think that counts as Sexual content you are not from this generation. :P
Frightening or Intense Scenes: This book is very intense, and sometimes scary. Violent at times, but no where near as gruesome as the hunger games.
Frightening or Intense Scenes: Kinda creepy scenes, some violence. And NO there's NOT any romance. AT ALL.
Violence: Just a bit of violence but not to much it was a perfect amount of violence. Someone below said there is a lot of romance but there is none.
Frightening or Intense Scenes: There are some creepy scenes throughout the book, and a traumatic back story but it just adds to the intensity of the story. Definatley not for those who get sad easily.
Violence: I was surprised about the amount of violence in this novel, but I enjoyed the story regardless.
