An excellent book that greatly exceeded my expectations.

As a background I was having difficulty losing 8 lbs, (my wife says that I needed to lose more than that, ...LOL) and I picked this book up, more out of curiosity than anything else.

"The Hungry Brain" provides an easy to read description of up-to-date research on weight gain, along with readily intelligible, well drawn diagrams, that explain as to what is happening in our brain, that in turn, controls our motivation and actions.

Finally the book offers some common sense ideas as to how government and we as individuals can control our own negative actions.

Probably this book is not for those fortunate people who are at their desired weight, but for everyone else, there is much that this book can offer.
