Monster Hunter: World is a masterpiece of a game, involving incredible monsters and fierce weapons, the gameplay is excellent. There are 14 weapons in the game, ranging from swords, to glaives, and even bow guns. The gameplay involves you, or others; against a massive monster, or even multiple. There are around 30 different monsters to fight, as well as around 10 unique locales to fight such beasts. This is really only the main downside of the game, considering the previous games had around 80 monsters on average, but this is justified by the fact that the game is only now making the jump in engines and platforms. Monster Hunter: World is the 5th mainline entry in the series and takes a big jump from the handheld industry the game had previously been focused on. You create your own character, allowing for customization and unique characters for all, as well as weapons to suit anyone's playstyle. Monster Hunter: World's monsters are also quite the spectacle, ranging from small bird wyverns, to flying dragons, and then to enormous species known as elder dragons. Each being unique in different ways, and elements. The gameplay of the game is satisfying, with each hit being vital, and each dodge being rewarding. Capcom's latest entry, Monster Hunter: World is fantastic.

Monster Hunter World is the latest installment in the increasingly popular Monster Hunter series. Monster Hunter World's main objective is to let the player partake in epic battles against monsters that are larger than life. Previous titles in the series have been ridiculed due to their slower pace and steep learning curve. Monster Hunter World has listened to the feedback and delivers a simple and extremely fun experience that anyone can pick up, while still remaining faithful to its predecessors. The game will show you how to gather materials to craft all the sick looking weapons and armour, as well as how to properly track down and hunt a monster. Everything transitions very smoothly in this game, this is due to the comfortable but tight controls and the amazing pacing of everything. The graphics and presentation are absolutely stunning and will captivate you everytime you start up the game. The only complaints are within the games uninteresting story since it does not invest gamers with anything. In less than an hour I had already hunted my first monster and was ready to fight the next. This game is worth all the time you give it so please try it out!

This is the best game of all time. No joke. The main campaign will take you 75 hours approximately, but you can continue playing for hundreds or thousands of hours. The 14 weapon types are so varied that you can simply switch weapons to feel like you're playing an entirely new game. Free title updates are STILL coming out for this game, so even if you played it on release with the original 30 monsters, today there are 33 monsters to track down including the classic Deviljho, Lunastra, and the brand new monster Kulve Taroth.

Quirky graphics, weapon controls can be slow and difficult to master but still a fun experience.

Haven't play a Monster Hunter game before?

This is the jumping in point. The game blends difficulty and skill nicely, making you earn each monster kill.

Every Hunt is unique and the level of strategy required to take out some of the more fearsome dragons is truly rewarding.

It's also beautiful to look at and offers a wide variety of hunting locales.
