Very good and informative book. I've read his most recent book (this one is older) and I like this one better than the newer one because it's more instructional and easier to find the steps on what to do to get better. Recommended.

"TMS supposedly causes rage and fear in the unconscious..."
This is backwards: Sarno says the fear of release of repressed rage causes TMS, which in turn causes a wide variety of physical symptoms. He also says that rage doesn't have to be expressed, only understood, in order to get relief from pain and other symptoms. This book was recommended by a top-notch pain psychologist. Have not done Sarno's program yet but looking forward to doing it.
