I thoroughly enjoyed this book and couldn't wait to get to the end! Loved it.

I wouldn’t necessarily classify this novel as a psychological thriller simply because there was potential for it to go in a particular direction but it did not. The novel dragged for a bit at the beginning, but was super rushed at the end. There were many twists and turns that made it difficult to put the book down but, I think one can easily figure out the ending even with all the red herrings. It could still be entertaining as a quick read, but I was disappointed with it considering all the hype it received (Seriously, Witherspoon??!?). It was really frustrating to discover the toxicity was between two particular characters, especially since this idea has been played out numerous times before.

The ending for me felt rushed and that was what I was looking forward to, an explosive revelation or occurrence however I felt that what ended up actually happening was not mind blowing in any way and the way it was presented fell flat. I was actually rooting for the ending to turn out differently (I won't say to spoil anything) but didn't expect it to end the way it did. Some readers had issue with the characters, others with cliches and some with dialogue. I took this for what it was - a fast entertaining read. It did feel more like a chick-lit type of book as opposed to a thriller so proceed accordingly.

This book has the best ending. I did not see it coming!!! If you love suspense novels or authors like B.A. Paris and Sarah Pinborough, then I would recommend you read this book.

One of the most enjoyable books I have ever read.
I could not put it down. The ending is explosive!

It was almost a 3/5, but I didn't respect Emily at all and I was not happy with the ending. I didn't feel the romance or mystery that I did in Reese's other choices.

I love a psychological thriller with twists and turns, but this one was just a little too unbelievable for me. It was increasingly difficult to empathize with the protagonist as the story wore on.

I liked writing style at first, but then it became just too petty and I lost interest. The ending was nonsensical to me.

I really enjoyed this book. Such an unexpected ending. A fun read with
A great plot twist.

So disappointed in Reese's latest pick! The prologue gave the book away. Not much of a mystery from the get-go. There was also nothing likable about any of the characters in the book.
